Hello!
Let me teach you easy and fun ways to incorporate performance and presentation into your regular classroom. I have so many ideas I'd like to share with you!
After 26 years of teaching theatre I have learned something surprising--theatre benefits ALL students!
* Often the shy students surprise me by creating the most interesting characters.
* Neurodivergent children excel at memorizing lines.
* Class clowns are amazing at improv and tend to behave better in the classroom if given a chance to earn approval as a performer.
* A student who doesn't make good grades can gain confidence by doing well performing a skit or singing a song.
Small children respond enthusiastically to learning with song, dance and story, and I can teach you how to easily add those components into your lessons. For example, I've never met a child who doesn't love the song "I'm Taking Home My Baby Bumblebee" and it's an excellent tool to teach emotions and expression, but it also pairs beautifully with a science lesson about pollinators and a caution to not "squish up" a baby bumblebee!
Workshops are available in-person or on Zoom! Message me for prices and availability.
